a little bit about me
My name is Kristin Mace and I am the Pastor of Student Ministries at Yankton Community Fellowship. Being a Youth Pastor means that I get to do what my heart has longed to do for many years. I have the privilege of spending time investing in the youth of this community. Having experienced many hardships and trials during my teen years and then later rededicating myself to the Lord, has given me the ability and tools to be able to put my passion to help others who see no way out when the turbulence of life has overwhelmed and consumed their existence into action. Life is a beautiful thing and we were meant to thrive. My goal is to help lost young souls see that there is so much more than what they may be going through. There there is a God who loves and cares for them more than they could ever imagine, and He has a purpose for their lives. Right now I am in the process of furthering my education by doing online courses through GroupU. So far I have completed one course and have earned a completion certificate. My plan is to get a degree, however I haven’t decided in what that will be. I will be exploring which direction to take as I continue on in my education.
Outside of work, my time is dedicated to my family. I am a Mamma to three beautiful daughters. One foster (Alannis), One step (Gracelynne), and one biological (Marlene). They are my most precious gems. I am also a wifey to the best husband a girl could ask for. God truly made my perfect matching puzzle piece when He created my hubby Jeremiah. He is the extra to my ordinary, the peanut butter to my jelly, the bacon to my eggs, he is the Adam to my Eve. Our Spare time is invested in a large range of activities. Anything from playing Call of Duty on the Xbox to camping trips full of clam digs, fishing and crab ring pulling. We enjoy variety.
Fun Fact: My favorite Bible Verse is:
“but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint” (Isaiah 40:31)
