Deaconess

Purpose

The Deaconesses are involved with the elders in the care ministries of the church family and extending into the  community.

Duties and Responsibilities
Keep the Body of Christ in prayer throughout the week via e-mail prayer chain.
Prepare communion elements
Assist female candidates at baptismal services.
Provide flowers, cards, etc…to the poor and sick among the church family.
Attend called deaconess meetings.
Provide and/or organize individuals to prepare refreshments at funeral and baptism events.
Be available as needed for duties related to the Angel Tree calling.

It is our goal to be aware of the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs within the church body.
