I am Pastor Fred. I am 60 years old, was born again July 14th, 1968, am privileged to have been married to Martie for 40 years, and we have 6 children and are expecting our 13th and 14th grandchildren. I have been the senior pastor at YCF for 13 years. I answered God’s call to become the Senior Pastor at Yankton in 1996.
Yankton Community Fellowship is made up of people from a variety of church backgrounds and those having no previous church affiliation. We have strong convictions that the Bible is the Word of God and the sole authority for defining who we are and what we do, so we strive to conform to that. There is freedom here to worship the Lord as God leads each individual bearing in mind that His pattern of worship always reflects order and reverence.
YCF loves and reveres God which in turn causes us to love and value every person regardless of background or race. We count it as an honor from God that He has brought people to Yankton from many ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.
YCF is a recovery ministry. We are all recovering from the effects of our fallen nature by the resurrection power of Jesus Christ and are called to take that message to all.
I am one of 7 elders at YCF. As Senior Pastor I have been assigned the task of the primary pastor/teacher elder. I oversee the staff and along with the other elders “watch out for your souls, as those who must give account.” (Hebrews
