Blaine and Abigail, along with Judah, Levi and their new brother Asher, are preparing to take the Word of God to France. France is a great country with a rich tradition of Huguenots. We are trying to revive this wonderful heritage. The theology of the Huguenots is the main influence on most evangelical churches today.

Below are the facts about Christianity in France today.

Christian churches need to be built and populated in France soon, and someone needs to carry the Word. Blaine and his family are prepared to leave as soon as their financial support is set. France Fast Facts:

(as of February 25, 2009)

-Less than 1% Believers

-10% Muslim and growing

-only 5% of non-Muslims believe in a Personal God

-93% of French Catholics do not believe in a personal God

-70% of French citizens claim be atheists or agnostics

-only 1 local church for every 63,000 people

-Ave. church-size: less than 30

-France is predicted to be predominately Muslin within 30-40 years

Butcher Fast Facts:

-140 individuals and families have made a monthly/annual pledge to support us while in France

-42 individuals or groups have committed to pray for us at least a half hour a week

-11 Supporting Churches have made commitments to support us monthly

-God has already provided all that is needed for outgoing expenses

-Have not used any support for living expenses here in the United States

Prayer Requests:

-that we would be able to be in France this April (support fully raised, Visas, housing arrangements)

-thank the Lord that 90% of our monthly support has been pledged!

-pray that the remaining 10% of our needed monthly support would be pledged soon, this is about $900 dollars a month

- pray that we would use the time wisely and that God would guide, direct and bless
