The Worship Enrichment Ministry Team is a fairly new ministry to Yankton Community Fellowship. We are a group of believers who are seeking to go deeper in our worship to our Lord. We invite you to look into this form of worship and perhaps join us.
Mission Statement:
We seek to encourage, edify and exhort the body of Christ to go deeper into their worship of Him in Spirit and in Truth. By our worship, we're inviting the HOLY SPIRIT into our presence. We see flagging and the use of other worship instruments as an extension of our hearts' desire to glorify the FATHER. We seek to express the outward emotions of the inward heart toward our SAVIOR.
There are many colors and each has meaning behind it. Just a few are shared below, we will share more colors and their meanings from time to time. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have about the flagging ministy.
RED:
Blood of Jesus, covenant of grace, cleansing, justification, sin, atonement, war, the wrath of God, judgement, death, love, life, redemption, consuming fire.
Green:
Praise, eternal life, vigor, prosperity, mercy, restoration, health, healing, new beginnings, freshness, God's holy seed, harvest, sowing and reaping.
Blue:
Revealed God, grace, divinity, the Priesthood, authority, the Holy Spirit, Heaven, revelation, knowledge, The Truth, the Word of God, washing.
Purple:
Royalty, kingship, power majesty, Mediator, wealth, Kingdom Authority, dominion, son-ship, the promises of God, inheritance.
